Building an ideal controller setup with your ideal controller, tablet, and mounts -- what would you do?
Suppose you were to build your ideal controller setup for a DJI Mavic 2 Pro with a controller, mounts, and a tablet and any extra accessories.
What controllers, mounts, tablets, and accessories would you choose?
Feel free to provide links and photos to what you have currently and/or what you would build in an ideal situation.
Thank you!

A lot of opinions on this subject. I only use iPads but that’s Pilots choice. IPad Mini 5 or Mini 6 gen works great with an 8” screen and as most IOS devices they are powerful. If you want to use a device which uses Android OS then there are so many different manufactures it’s hard to know which ones will work. I’m sure others who use Android OS devices can help with which ones they know work well.
As far as mounts, I don’t use them but the Mavmount is one if the best overall from what I’ve read over the last few years. They aren’t as cheap as others but they are great quality and hold the device very firmly so no worries about it coming lose.

As far as controllers I would not purchase the original DJI Smart controller or CrystalSky as they are very old Android tech and way under powered and it will not work well. DL is a resources intense app which needs a powerful device to run without issues. I don’t believe there is any other controller you can use with the M2P. You’re kinda stuck with the original controller so you need to decide what device you think will work best for you. Do you want a small screen 5” to 6” screen or larger 8” or bigger. I have used an iPad Mini 5 for about 2-1/2 years and the size makes a big difference and I believe gives you a much better flying experience. I recently purchased the newest iPad 11 Pro, M2 chip which is amazing with the 11” screen and I know it will last for years. I could never go back to a small 5” or so screen. Hope this helps and I’m sure others may give their opinions. Hope this helps. Good luck.
A couple links which explain what controllers will work with which drones. Read the footnotes regarding the Smart controller and the CrystalSky.
