Dronelink DJI Version 4.5.0 (246) DJI Mini 3 Pro
Congrats to the team on the work so far!!
I am using Dronelink DJI Version 4.5.0 (246) with the DJI Mini 3 Pro/RC N1 and a Pixle 4 XL running Android 13.
Loading projects is no problem. Preview working. Earlier issues with resolution on screen rotation now fixed.
Have noted the issue others have mentioned that if obstacle avoidance (APAS) is enabled and there are abstacles in the vicinity of the drone at take off. The drone will take off and hover, then the mission stops and a window will open with 'Automatic Control Interrupted - APAS'. Once APAS is disabled in DJI Fly App then this doesn't happen. Can't see a way to disable APAS from within Dronelink App.
I am having trouble with the App crashing during missions. I have run several mapping missions (approx. 15 from build 240 to 246) (approx. mission size 100m x 100m, 7 mins) and have not yet managed to complete a mission without the app either pausing and not responding or closing down. I can see no reason for this. I have ensured that the phone is not attempting to sleep and that its battery usage is unrestricted, all other apps are closed.
Have noted that it is possible to record 48MP images for a mapping mission. Once the mission is underway (once it has started recording images, not while it is in transit) it is possible to click on the image button above the shutter release button in the Dronelink App and select 'High Resolution'. If the mission is composed of multiple components this setting will be dropped when the next component starts.

The obstacle obstacle avoidance is in the DJI app. All settings are stored in the drones firmware so they stick across apps. So turn off in DJI app. Any of the settings in the DJI app are set the same and used by DL.
Not sure of I’m understanding the 48 MP photo question, I don’t believe there is a way to switch in the DL native app using modern dashboard to 48 MP. I use camera commands on my plans so if I want to use any camera feature I just add it into the plan where I want them. There are still some camera functions when using modern dashboard which at this time cannot be set manually in the Native app.
I believe that Pixel 4 is an old device. Almost 4 years but all indications so I’d try a much newer released device to see if the issue still persist. It may work but it is possible it’s the device. Device Should be released within the last year or maybe two depending on which device manufacture. Hope this helps.

Sadly, this is not true in MSDKv5. Obstacle avoidance is not currently supported while in virtual stick.
High resolution is on option on the map component:
Thanks Mike/Jim
I am on the 'Elite' plan so do not have the option to select 'High Resolution' under 'Photo Type'. I was outlining a workaround for this. I had seen someone else enquiring whether this feature could be accessed.
I will borrow a newer phone and see if it helps.
I believe there may be a misunderstanding. I understand obstacle avoidance is not supported with the Mini 3 right now. My comment was on how to turn off the obstacle avoidance in the DJI App which Nigel was asking about on the mini 3 since it causes APAS errors. There is no way to turn off in DL app. Only in DJI app. Once turned off you should have no APAS error Nigel.
Can I get some more details on why APAS isn't available with Virtual Sticks if its emulating a real pilot's input? Is this because APAS can't be used when sending API stick commands vs the actual sticks and is an SDK limitation? Any idea why DJI would not allow this? It's kinda sucky to have to make your drone completely vulnerable to collisions to use DL. I'm new to DL, so please accept my naivety. This application is AMAZING and I never want to use the Fly app again!

It was an arbitrary limitation or oversight by DJI. They are aware of the issue and we have communicated how important it is to enable it.
