Air2S Paddle Freeze error

John Gibson
I have a new Air2S that I have flown a couple of missions with. I got a new error today with it that I’ve never seen before. Paddle Freeze. What is this error and how do I fix it? Firmware is all updated.

Jim McAndrew Here are three screenshots.  When I first get the Paddle freezed. error I get the Automated Cotrol Interupted error.  I tried to just restart the mission and I got the Unable to Take Control error.  I hid the Paddle freezed. error and then completed the mission with no problem.  I looked at the flight log in AirData to see if any error showed up that would correspond with the Paddle freezed. error.  I'm only seeing where the mode changed from P-GPS to Joystick.

I was able to get the Paddle freezed. error and then switch to DJI FLY app to see what the error was.  Here is what DJI App showed and AirData from the flight log.  This is a brand new drone.  Less than 30 minutes of flight.  I checked the motors and they all spin freely with no issues.  I was not able to replicate in the DJI app flying manually.  I flew a couple more missions in DL and when the error occured, tried switching to DJI FLY to see if I could reproduce the motor error.  I was not able to replicate.

If there are no errors in the DJI Fly app and it files without any issues then it’s more than likely a False error. The DL app just reports the DJI SDK errors. This is why DL added a long time ago to ignore or permanently hide the false errors. It’s pilots choice but as long as it flys with no errors in the Fly app then you should have no issues.

Thank you Mike. DroneLink kept canceling the flight plan after a few minutes because of the error. I opened it in the Fly App and it said motor error. I swapped out props and the error stopped happening.
