one thing to add is if you click the advanced tab you can set several different settings including if the drone will go horizontal or vertical to go around the zone

Really good point, Martin. I didn't go into the settings for this one (other than to mention alt and shape) but this is important because you could, for example, tell it to go over a tree while still flying the same pattern.
