Can I set up the drone camera angle of my Mavic Air 2 when creating a mission / Waypoint?
Hello,
I came across Dronelink and found that it could be a great tool for what I am looking to achieve with my DJI Mavic Air 2. Being a professional athlete I am often trying to get some shots of me cycling and running for my sponsors either from the sides or at higher altitude, cresting a climb or following a river.
It is unclear to me whether Dronelink, when creating a mission, allows the user to set up the camera angle of the drone ahead of time? Is it possible? Can I let the drone take off and fly on its own and hover or return to home when done?
Apologies if these questions have already been answered. I am continuing my research on it so if there are any examples that can be shared (ideally of sports videos?), that would be amazing!
Thanks in a advance!

Several options for that sort of thing.
First, to answer your question (I think). You can create a component that moves to a location, sets the gimbal angle and direction, starts recording, hovers for a period of time, and then returns to home and lands. I assume that is what you are looking for.
But...perhaps a better option is to look into the Follow Me function.

By using this you can keep your phone on you and the drone will follow your phone (and therefore you) and keep you in shot as you move around.
Hey Barry,
Thank you! It does answer my question. That's a neat feature. I love the follow mode as it looks much better than the ActiveTrack of the Mavic Air 2. The only caveat (which makes total sense) is that I would need to have the RC and phone with me, which wouldn't be ideal for when I run, but I think I can address that by create a path mission and add waypoints.
I have some additional questions if that's not too much to ask?
My understanding is that when I create a path mission with waypoints, the drone will be facing the direction of the point of interest. Is it possible to add multiple point of interest in 1 path mission? My guess is that it is similar to adding waypoints and therefore it is possible?
Thanks again for taking the time to respond to my question!
Making use of path actions you can have as many points of interest as you like, I'll regularly put in like sub pinches of interest between the main ones to really smooth out transitioning between the main ones or to force the rotation direction
Thanks Martin! That's super helpful.
