MA2 beta photo type smart.
I tested component Camera photo type smart on mavic air 2 today. I have the latest firmware for the controller and drone. Can anyone confirm that this function should work?

Good morning Rafał Ciszewski please read this topic:

You'll find at the end a way to avoid this problem: using a mission with commands only to test all parameters set before flying.
The issue you encountered is not a BUG
Thank you, I read the topic you are writing about, but I still don't know if it (Camera photo type smart) should work on mavic air 2.
No, if you receive that error it means that the DJI SDK doesn't support the smart mode or it doesn't call it in that way. You can test all the modes without engaging the motors.
Thank you Rafaello. So,
1. DJI fly support the Smart mode.
2. DJI SDK doesn't support the smart mode.
do I think correctly?
Not really true, I don't know if it calls the SMART mode in "High Resolution" that works with MA2.
You will not find the High resolution voice on DJI Fly app but we found it on SDK.
Even tho the MA2 does support Smart photos and HDR videos etc, I have read a few posts about some modes not working. Not sure which ones since I haven’t tried all of them. I’m guessing they may get it figured out but, if not I just adjust camera parameters and settings accordingly. The biggest one for me is 48MP photos which I haven’t tried still. Those photos are amazing and great for to editing. I’m sure Jim is aware if this and hopefully it’s being looked into for a fix or if it’s even possible. I guess my next mission plans will all be to try all the camera functions and see which ones work. Good luck.
Enjoy, Mike....
Arizona Wyldwest we look forward to your test report.

It may be awhile. Spring time here is even much more windy than the rest of the year. I’ve created a separate Repo for just testing a ton of different video and photo types and formats. I’ll do each one individually and see which ones will work with the MA2. It may take awhile but it will be nice to know. I’ll need to check each created photo or video specs to see if the Resolution or Format is correct for the mode I used. It’s more work but I enjoy all of this. I’m sure Jim is aware of which ones will work with the MA2. I’m just curious to try a bunch and see how they go. I just enjoy trying new things out and since I’m retired I have plenty of time. Lol.
Enjoy all, Mike...
Have any of you had any luck with the Smart mode on the MA2? I'm taking images with a wide range of brightness. The HDR and eHDR settings work really well to compensate for the images I need. When trying to use the Smart mode, I haven't been able to get the camera to actually take an HDR image. Am I doing something incorrectly or just over estimating what the Smart mode is supposed to do?
