Leonardo Bonomi

Hi!

I’m testing the beta version of the app (iOS) 2.2.0 (142) and I’m getting the error “dronelink kernel missing”. What is that?

thanks!

Have you tried reinstalling the app?

Hi Jim! I did - same issue and actually the app started to crash. I’m running on iPad Mini 5 iOS 14.4.1

Dronelink requires a network connection to download the kernel from our servers, and it is currently working for us. On the app crashing, if it that is happening when you force quit the app, that is a known issue that DJI is looking into (DJI SDK bug).

Also, on kernel missing you need to make sure you are logged in.

Thanks for your reply! What you mean by network connection? My iPad was connected to internet on both tries. Thanks!

I also rcvd. the same msg. and when logging on I go to a gray screen.  I re-installed the native app and it still will not connect, just a gray screen.  If I hit my phone's back button in the screen with my name an hobbyist I hit the program's hamburger button I come to a screen with my name and e-mail address with several possibilities to click on:  "Web App", "Learn", etc.  If I click on "Web App" it asks for me to log in again.  I use auto fill and it sends me to a page that looks nothing like what I was using before.  It has click on buttons for; "35 Plans", "5 Functions", "39 repositories", "137 Missions", 1 Component", and "1 mode".  I see nothing for the "Beta" versions like the "Follow Mode".  I admit I have not used your app for a while, it seems to have changed quite a bit.  Where do I find follow made and the others.

It sounds like maybe you are having a different issue. Can you start a new thread with some screenshots?
