App will not connect
Mavic Air 2. Just updated to new IOS version 2.1.0 build (137). I checked it once and loaded a mission without any issue and it connected. However, now it won’t connect. I’ve sent a screenshot of it indicating disconnected to Dronelink. Just curious if any suggestion to fix issue. I have only the Beta Test App downloaded, not the Native App which I’ve heard should not be downloaded at same time. I’ve deleted the App and reinstalled it but still won’t connect. I’ve tried shutting down the app several times and waited for several minutes to see if it would eventually connect. Deleted the App and reinstalled but still won’t connect.

Finally got finally got it to connect but it took a lot of work. This is what I posted in Facebook Official Dronelink group.
Tried the newest Beta IOS version 2.1.0 build (137). It would not connect to app. I tried two different IOS devices and still nothing. Deleted the Beta App and installed again but Still would not connect on either device. (IPad Mini 5 and IPhone 8 Plus.) I Shut down both devices and restarted them along with the drone, controller. Still would not connect. I finally deleted the Beta App again and installed older build (136) which connected with no issues. I again deleted the Beta App and installed as new the newest version 2.1.0 build (137) and it now works.
A lot of hoops to jump through but if anyone is having an issue with newest a Beta version not connecting I would suggest deleting the app, installing the older build (136) and connect. If all goes well then delete again and then install as new the newest version 2.1.0 build (137). Then check to see if working. Hope this helps. Not sure why it was a pain but maybe they can figure it out.
Everything worked perfect with DJI Fly app so I know it wasn’t my devices or drone/controller.
Good luck. Enjoy.
Have not seen this behavior, but we will try it out.
FWIW Just successfully connected and tested a couple of non-motion plans my MA2 with IOS version 2.1.0 Build 137 on my iPad Pro. Build 136 was previously installed.
I do always make sure DJI Fly is not running.
Hello, the same thing happened to me. I cannot connect my MAVIC AIR 2 to the application. I tried an older version and I didn't succeed either.Andrea, did you read my post above. It took some work but it finally worked. Make sure you have no other Dronelink Apps installed. Just the Beta Version App. If so delete all of them. Then read my post above. Many have had no problem but others have had an issue connecting as well. Good luck.
Mike.
Miguel, try to run your post. Uninstall version 137 and install 136 but it still didn't work for meOk. Andrea. After I deleted the Dronelink app I did restart my iPad then installed the old (136) app. Once it worked I deleted the app again. Make sure you have No other Dronelink Apps installed. After that I installed just the Beta App (137) and it worked. Jim is aware of this issue and hopefully it can get worked out. Obviously some are having same issue so there must be a problem. Good luck. Wish I could help more.
Also what device are you using ?
iphone 7 plus, iOS 14.4
Have you run these steps?
I managed to connect the Mavic Air 2 with the app. I installed beta 136 app and jointly opened DJI FLY and additionally I had to log out and log in and get it to connect. Then I removed beta 136 application and installed version 137 and ran the same steps.
Still occasionally not connecting. Same IPad Mini 5 and Same MA2 drone and controller. Tried shutting down and starting up App several times and waited for a few minutes. Deleted the app and reinstalled then tried a few times. No luck. Installed older Beta version 2.0.1 (136) still would not connect. Update to 2.0.0 (137) and finally connected again. Also a few times the app would run but when I tried clicking on a mission it closed the app. Tried several times and same thing, app would close over and over. Restarted my IPad and finally got it to start mission without closing app.
The good news is once I got the app running I ran a fully automated mission with about 5 minutes of video, then switched to photo intervals of 4 seconds for about 2 mins more of flight. Everything worked great. No mission failure or warnings.
Just appears to be some issues with the App connecting and sometimes closing automatically. I’m sure they are listening and working on the bugs. Unfortunately I believe it is DJI’s SDK which is the issue. Here’s hoping for a future with most issues corrected. Good luck.
