Can you reproduce the issue every time? What are the steps to reproduce? Can you send a screen recording?
I have the same issue with my mavic mini. Something is triggering a fly-away effect and the only thing stopping the drone from leaving earth is to push the return to home button on the remote control.
This is reproducible in two cases as far as I experienced them:
In both cases I was using only the drone-link app (no DJI Fly in the background)
Thanks for the report. When you say smart phone accidentally switched off, do you mean completely powered off? Does it happen if you just unplug the phone from the RC?
"switched off" in this regard meant, that only the display was switched off.
Despite turning on the the "display" again, the drone continued to fly away, until I took control by the RC (controller).
I haven't unplugged the phone from the RC during a flight session.
I wasn't able to reproduce either of these issues.
ok, that's strange.
This fly-away effect is happening a lot in my case and I thought those were the situations triggering them.
I am using the IOS app with advanced mode for follow me (no interaction possible, height relative, no constant update of homepoint)
Are you running the DJI Fly App in the background ?
You cannot run the DJI Fly app in the background and use Dronelink at the same time (or any DJI SDK app for that matter).
since I wasn't running the DJI Fly App in the background, I am still curious why this is happening.
is there a way to provide you with some app logging data ?
You can email your flight log to support@dronelink.com.
