Google Earth Export
I know it’s been this way for a long time. Whenever I want to export to Google Earth I always need to switch from Firefox to the Safari browser since it’s the only one which will download the file to my iPad. Both Firefox and even Chrome won’t download it. I’m guessing it’s something with IOS but thought I’d ask. I searched and could not find anything about this specific issue. Is there a way DL can get it to work with Firefox or will I be stuck with Safari (cough, cough 🤮) in order to download the file ? Not a big deal just frustrating to always jump back and forth. Thanks….

There should be a setting in Firefox that says where to download to. Maybe you can. Set that and then access it directly through the file manager?
Got mine set in Waterfox so it automatically opens in Google earth, not on pc at the moment so vacant say where it's set
Firefox on my iPad doesn’t have a download option anywhere. I have the Apple file manager which it sends to on my iPad when I use Safari. It brings up the download window and I click download and it’s there. Neither Firefox or Chrome has ever had any window pop up or any KMZ downloaded to my device no matter what I do. It has never worked for 2 plus years.
Did just try Chrome and for the first time a small window at bottom pops up to download and then open option. Since I don’t Chrome there is a possibility it started working some time ago. Still no luck with Firefox though. Nothing in downloads in Firefox folder, or in the files app, reading list etc… All it does is a quick flash in address bar. As I stated, not a big deal but since I only use Firefox it would be nice. Thx guys.
This is not currently prioritized.
Understood Jim. Life goes on. Thx..
