mission planner in beta app wrong version
If you open the beta app it opens as 4.4.2 (238) as shown in screenshot below
Now click on mission planner
And this is what you get 4.4.0, so it looks as though the kernel isn't updating in beta app

Do you really prefer editing in the embedded browser?
It depends where I am Jim, handy when out in the field sometimes and want to make minor alterations, normally though I'm on the laptop when editing so yeah it isn't a problem then as I've got both the normal and beta web app as tabs on my homepage in Waterfox
