On the fly Orbit with mini 2
Hello,
I did test the new on-the-fly orbit component, with the possibility to modify parameters while flying. That works. However ...
Changing [altitude, radius, speed, direction, gimbal pitch] is fine.
But yaw movement is too slow. 3s are needed to make it happening after pushing the stick.
Would it be possible to add more reactivity on this command ?
Thx

Hi stéphane GARNIER, I'm guessing this is intentional to make it more cinematic, as it sounds very similar to what i reported here https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/13463408177043-Yaw-Speed-in-follow-mode
Yes, same remark.
I saw your post and read again my contribution which is in line with my own experience on the field :
I wanted to make photos while turning around a target. I was not able to keep it in the center of the screen because the yaw was not responding well.
Hope Jim will accept the improvement 😀
We have another feature called Drone Offsets which enables a panel on the right to allow you to correct for GPS and Compass errors during the mission and it responds almost instantly.
Thanks.
I understand that this feature will improve positioning etc.
However, I am not sure that the manual yaw command will be as efficient as radius, speed and others.
This is just an assumption on my side as I do not have the correct option to test the drone offset.
Maybe this feature could move to hobbyist.
Jim McAndrew, is this available for on the fly missions like stéphane GARNIER is talking about?
This one of the key features that set professional plans apart, so not likely.
It is available in Scanlink but not currently in the vanilla Orbit mode. We may consider adding an Adaptive Orbit mode, similar to Adaptive Facade, which does have it enabled.
