iOS logon with face recognition.

George K

I would be interested in being able to log on using face recognition, and/or touch on some devices. If it’s already in future plan’s great, I just didn’t find anything about it. Especially on the forum, it seems I have to put in user name and password every time, but I’m probably missing something.

I just have my browser set to remember my log in details, I've got face recognition for logging into my Tab 7FE, normally end up using my PIN instead

I'm not quite sure why you are having to log in each time.

I use an iPad and an Android phone - both log me straight in without any passwords.

I'll look into this more on my end. Maybe a setting I am missing. One thing may be using "Do not disturb". I have it set so when Dronelink opens, it turns on DND. When I open DL the "DND" message pops up saying it is on, then when I use the link to go to the forum it crashes almost every time. I should say I get a message it crashed and do I want to send information. The forum still opens though. This is on my iPad Mini, gen 4. So maybe it closes Safari in the background, then when I go back it requires me to log in again. It sent the log a couple of times, I do not know if Jim or other DL programmer/support got it. I'll turn that off and see if it works.

    Thanks for the responses.

I don’t need to keep doing it either. Most websites I use don’t need to be enter each time. Definitely something in your settings.
