94 ft ceiling on Map after battery change
Mavic 2 Pro - Grid Map - iOS 16 - iPhone 12ProMax
On two separate occasions I've had the same issue ... this seems to be repeatable.
Ex. 1 - Class G Airspace - Created a 285ft altitude Map (Grid).
After I change the battery, and press play, my Mavic 2 will fly to 94 ft and reach "maximum altitude". Maximum altitude is set at 400ft.
I can rectify this my exiting dronelink on my iPhone (swiping up). Then relaunching dronlelink, reloading the mission, and resuming. Then it works fine.
I had to do this after every battery change.
Ex 2. Same exact situation. In this case it was a 100ft altitude Map (grid) mission with LAANC approval. Again after replacing the battery the Mavic 2 Pro would fly to 94 ft and report "maximum altitude" reached. After killing dronelnk, relaunching and resuming it worked fine.
This isn't a critical issue since I had a very acceptable workaround ... but just doesn't seem right.
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks for your thoughts.

What version of dronelink are you running as this was supposed to have been fixed in build 229

4.2.0 build 228 .... so that's probably the issue.
I don't see any way to get build 229 though .. probably something I just have to wait to get through apple approvals.
I actually searched for this issue ... I'm disappointed I didn't find the thread.
Thanks for pointing out this is a known issue.
Apple has already released three Beta updates to new version 4.3.0 with builds 229, 230 and just now build (231). Im sure the production version will be updated but you can use the Beta if needed right away.

I just searched and found the thread. 🤙🏼
Here is a link for Beta if interested.

Winds finally calmed down enough to get the drone up. Flew a mission today with three battery changes and had zero altitude issues on the latest software. Good Job!
