Maximum altitude reached after battery swap, 95’
I’ve spent the past three days trying to pinpoint the reason why my missions won’t resume after a battery swap. Drone ascends to 95’ and indicates maximum altitude reached and suggests to increase the max altitude. Max altitude is set to just under 400’ and I checked in the app which indicates the same. I’ve flown several missions to trying to diagnose the issue but no luck. The telemetry is indicating altitude at zero on take-off on each battery swap and 95’ when it fails.
I Refreshed the firmware on drone and controller and calibrated the IMU and compass. Tried again and after swapping the battery it stops at same 95’. I’ve shut down the app, drone and controller and started all back up. Resumed the mission but same issue at 95’. The only way I can finish the mission is to shut everything down including my iPad then restart. Once that’s done it will resume and complete the mission. I’ve done this three times with battery swaps and every time it fails resuming unless I shut down everything to include the iPad. I deleted the DL app and reinstalled Beta version 4.2.0 (228) and still an issue.
At this point I’m not sure what else to do. Haven’t tried with previous Beta versions yet. Hopefully you can find something in the Beta version I’m using. I can try a previous version to see if it works but thought I’d check with you first. I haven’t done any battery swaps for awhile so not sure if it is just this version. I haven’t seen any other post about this so seems strange. All the missions I ran where from 150’ to 225’ altitude and ran fine until the battery swap. Please let me know.

ya tenemos la versión 4.3 (230)
we already have version 230
Alejandro Dabroy, I think 229 was only on Apple devices to solve the problem in the title of this thread
Version 4.3.0 builds (229 & 230) became available at the same time just yesterday. Probably Apple holding up the approval of (229) and then both were released together. Not uncommon. As soon as the high winds go away I’ll test (230) but I’m sure DL figured it out. Great support as always. Thanks DL team. 🤙🏼
Totally agree Mike 🤙🏼
This all happened while I was on vacation so I missed it. Which is a shame because this happened to me today!
I got this error all day today with 4.2.0. Mini 2/iPhone 13.
Self corrected after hard close of dronelink and manual flight takeoffs resuming missions above ceiling. But would come back with every battery swap.
Has anyone tried this to see if its corrected with 4.3.0 (231) ?
Developer notes say its corrected I'm gonna give it another try tomorrow.
I can confirm that a) I did have issues with Max Altitude previously, and b) with the updates installed I have made multiple flights, with multiple battery changes and no issues seen yet. Mini 2, iPhone 14, version 231
I hate to ask, but are you sure you have version 231 installed and running?
Yea I was on version 4.2.0 ..... It worked flawlessly on version 231 today.
Was fixed with version 4.3.0 (229). Now on (231) and all is well.
Hi!
I had the same problem after changing the battery - maximum altitude at 30 m. After closing the app and the drone again - I did not shut down the iPad - the mission was finished.
It is iPad Air5, Mavic Air 2. iPad-Version 4.3.0 (231) | Kernel 4.3.0 | iPadOS 15.7.1 | iPad13,16
I hope a new version will solve the problem.
But I have an other question. How can I delete a mission if I don`t need it any more?
Open the plan you want t delete. Then left of flight name click the three dots.
Then go to the bottom of the list. You should see Delete and the trash can icon. Be careful, once you delete it cannot be recovered. You could also make another repository and save it there, just in case.
PS If you are doing this on mobile app you need to open the plan in edit mode.
Zoltán Imecs. You stated your using: It is iPad Air5, Mavic Air 2. iPad-Version 4.3.0 (231) | Kernel 4.3.0
Version 4.3.0 (231) has no max altitude issue. So you may not have updated lt or there is something else going on if it did not work. This issue was on an older version 4.2.0 (228).
On the field I was off-line. After coming home I saw the possibility of update. Actually I solved the problem on the field, so this is not a problem for me. I didn`t fly too often...
But the other issue is disturbing. I don`t see the Delete possibility. Thanks for help!
I do not recognize this view, and cannot duplicate it, but I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as many of the others here. (Uninstall and reinstall?)
I would suggest though, you create a new thread/post with this issue. Having this one at the tag end of a totally unrelated problem may cause it to be overlooked or ignored by someone that could help you.

It looks like you are in a component and not in the mission.
Click on the three dots at the top of the mission next to the mission name and you will see the delete option there

Barry’s got you covered but there are a few ways. Open the Repo the plan is in or click on the purple tab which list all your plans. Then click on the three dots next to it.
