Smooth transition waypoint>spiral/orbit...
Hello all, new DL user here.
I am making some mission with few waypoints to building, few waypoints aroung building and spiral around building.
I would like to know how to make smooth transition from last waypoint to spiral(or circle in my other mission).
When waypoint ends, it has some time and it hovers till spiral starts.
I checked some posts, but they are from 3 years ago...

As I always say, there are so many ways to set up a plan it’s hard to know exactly what each pilot is trying to accomplish. I changed a few things just to make it a bit smoother when interpolating at some of the markers and altered a couple other things. Your plan good overall to me.
As far as the pause at the start of the Orbit, that is normal. When adding any new component the drone will need to slow down at the end of the previous one and stop at the next component then start again. There is no way to keep it moving steady going into the next component. If you want it to begin moving sooner once it has arrived you can change the “Arrival” time to about one second or less. The default is 4 seconds so that will get it moving sooner. Even if set lower or will still always take a couple seconds to actually start moving. You can change the Arrival time for each component. I tought there is some way to "merge" waypoints and spiral but i guess there is option to make spiral out of 30 or so waypoints so its in one smooth video :)
Also can i know what you suggest to change in plan?

Hi Dejan. As I stated there are so many ways to set up a plan and if you asked 6 other pilots you would get 6 different ways. I changed a couple more things but still runs the same Path and Orbit. I Changed the Corner Radius on the rectangular portion of the path which I believe makes it better then a tighter corner radius. I Eliminated the second POI at waypoint B which wasn’t needed. Nothing wrong with adding it but once you have it set to a POI it will stay on it until you change with another command. I Removed the POI on waypoint C and added a marker instead. This way you can move the marker up or down on the path to get the desired look when it interpolates to the next marker. I Adjusted the very end of the path so when it starts the Orbit there is very little or no twitch to center it. Gives it a smooth transition from the path to the Orbit. Also added a -30 gimbal pitch at last waypoint and set to curved interpolation so it’s already at the same -30 pitch as the Orbit will have. This way the gimbal won’t snap quickly from the -18 pitch you set to the -30. Also as I suggested earlier I set the Arrival time to 1 second so it doesn’t pause for so long. If any of this helps then great. If not and you hate it then toss it away. It Won’t hurt my feelings Dejan. Lol…….
