My changes for focus and other modes were approved and deployed about an hour ago. The modes should work now and you shouldn't have to download anything.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we have fixed the gimbal pitch for focus mode as well as other modes we found this problem in, and will release it in an upcoming update.
