My work around has been to type in my negative setting (-35, etc.) on a text screen and copy it. Then, when I need it I can paste it in. It's a bit of a pain, but at least I can do it on the phone ...

All I have on mine is a number keypad 0-9, Delete key, blue GO, and a period. I don't even have the up/down arrows next to Degrees.
