Hallelujah!  Must have been one of the permission allowances as I thought I had set all to allow.  Nope one was not set, and lo and behold it's working now.  Thanks for your suggestions JimMac.

Thanks.  I tried uninstalling DJI Go and Litchi.  Fired it up and still Dronelink will not not connect the remote to the drone.  Rebooted and tried again...nada.  Every permission that is available...
