Versions 4.1.0 build (220 & 221)
After using only the Beta versions for maybe a year or so I wanted to give some more feedback. Using the newest Version 4.1.0 (221), with Modern Dashboard. Also some features which were added in previous build (220)
I’ve been using modern dashboard more often as you continue to add, change or fix functions or features. A lot of things have changed over time and many may not apply to my specific drone so I can’t comment how those functions work. However, the new version of the DL Native app and the modern dashboard is looking great. Just a few noticeable things I’d like to mention.
1. The addition of being able to set distance reference to either device or home in the (221) is great. Setting to home solved my issues using iPad Mini 5 Wi-Fi only. Basically it’s the same accuracy as when using the DJI Fly app. Altitude and distance measurements are usually Zero on both at take-off. When landing whether RTH at completion or a battery swap and then RTH to home-point the Altitude is usually zero or extremely close. Distance was about 6’ at most and less then 1’ at times. Good work DL.
2. The previous build (220) added Gridlines and Reticle which is nice. I know this has been asked about for the modern dashboard and now available. Also added histogram, drone off-sets and several others which I’m sure will make pilots happy.
3. Mission Accomplished Confetti. I just had to mention this one. Lol…. Cool. 🎉
The modern dashboard has gotten to the point where I’ll be utilizing it instead of classic. Recently I’ve run some missions and used several functions I’ve never used before to see how they worked. Facade, Solar Inspection, Restricted Zones, Disengage, Hover etc. Either I’m the luckiest pilot or maybe I’m just a bit of a perfectionist and make sure everything is up to date, set up properly and triple check everything before flights. Overall the mass majority of time DL has worked flawlessly for me using with my MA2. Keep up the great work. 🤙🏼
