Add Airspace Map layer - like "the FAA's Visualize It" or "B4UFLY" Airspace map

Daniel Snyder

I want to be able to apply the Airspace Layer before flying or during planning for the mission.   Could also then add LAANC Authorization link.

FAA's "Visualize It" is found here:    https://arcg.is/18TWmq1

B4UFLY is here:   https://b4ufly.aloft.ai/

This would be a great productivity tool and get an edge over the competition.

We've looked at doing these types of integrations previously, but they all incur a monthly charge so if we did implement them, they would likely only be available in the subscription plans.

Thanks Jim - makes sense.  The B4UFLY API looks freeh however (Sponsored by the FAA to ESRI Maps.

On another note I would like to see a feature added where a Compass Rose layer could be added / overlaid on the map.  It would help immensely with Heading planning (right now it's kind of interactive guesswork).  The desired option would be to add (toggle) a True North or a Magnetic North compass rose overlay to the map  while doing a mission plan.

Cheers for all you do Jim.

    Love this application.

    Daniel.

Aloft charges for access to use this layer via API.

You can toggle the drone heading indicator (text) in the UI settings pane in the modern dashboard.

Lets add the B4UFLY airspace map as a link from the mission planning board.  (Note - B4UFLY includes a link to LAANC authorization - so it's an easy 2-fer of enhancements that will make Dronelink more competitive with the like for Drone Deploy).

Has there been any follow up by Dronelink on this feature request? I feel like people would be willing to pay for this service by Dronelink depending on their subscription level.
