I used to be able to tilt the map and see the z axis using the control key. It doesn't work anymore... ?

I used to be able to tilt the map and see the z axis using the control key. It doesn't work anymore... ?
We disabled the feature because it served no purpose (the mission line and markers are all in 2d).
