Indoor navigation using the Mavic Mini without GPS
I want to fly a mission using the Mavic Mini in an indoor environment, where GPS signal could be very weak. Will dronelink allow me to takeoff and execute the mission even if there are not enough GPS satellite fixes?
The idea is to execute a mission with known waypoint coordinates in 3D space, without relying on GPS. Please note that I am using the DJI Mavic Mini.
Please let me know if this is possible with dronelink so that I can decide which plan to purchase

Short answer - no, DL requires GPS and the locations are all GPS coordinates. You can fly manually but you won't be able to execute a mission.
If you really want to do this - look at a Tello drone and a system called DroneBlocks. It's designed for kids, but the Tello uses vision sensors for positioning and so you can tell it to move forward x inches, etc.
If you need something more complicated, there are ways to bring GPS coordinates indoors...but it's expensive.
Hey Barry,
Thanks for your answer. I have worked with the Tello as you mentioned, and would like to do the same with the Mavic Mini. What is the way to do that? (use commands like move forward x inches)
Is it possible to test the accuracy of the IMU based positioning of the Mavic Mini without relying on GPS?
I am not aware of a way to get positioning from the IMU in the DJI SDK.
Thank you for your answer Jim
What could be an alternative for this? The only constraint is that GPS may fluctuate in the indoor setting, and I need positioning for the Mavic Mini irrespective of whether a GPS signal is there or not.
Is there any other drone that can achieve this using dronelink?
Not that I am aware of.
