Error Invalid gimbal settings when starting orbit
I created a mission with three orbits. every has different height and pitch settings.
When flying the mission I get an error "Invalid gimbal settings 30" (or something like that) When I change the gimbal pitch manually I can proceed flying the mission.
In the preview it looks like the gimbal pitch has been reset to zero degrees. I cannot find this setting in my mission, or am I overlooking something ?
This is my mission: https://app.dronelink.com/smooth/my-first-project/plan/X0a8VNAbGYG1789SrVQ7/kaGlTZIeB8cXzaE282Pv
Sorry for asking so much, but I am still learning.

I see Gimbal orientation pitch 0° at the beginning of your mission.
The 0° at beginning of plan is just setting it to that degrees at start of plan and can be removed but doesn’t matter. Once it gets to the next component the gimbal will change to the settings you have in that component.
The issue is you added an additional gimbal orientations at the start of each Orbit along with multiple gimbal channels. Those other channels are only for a drone which has multiple cameras/ gimbals. Remove those on each Orbit and it should work.
Thank for your answer.
I added the pitch setting to zero trying to solve this issue.
I missed the start setting. Next question...wat is the use of this start setting. When will the start setting change to the orbit setting. Does it change immediately or while running the orbit.?
That sets the gimbal angle while the drone is flying to the start of the Orbit (previously called the approach).
Johank. The gimbal pitch will be set just before it starts the Orbit. Since your Destinations on this particular plan are directly on top of each other there is not really an approach. It would only change for a couple seconds or so then set to the Orbits pitch before it starts. Adding a gimbal pitch on an approach would be generally if you have some distance to travel to the Orbit and you want it to be pointing down so it’s looking more at the POI you are going to be Orbiting. Obviously many ways to set up a plan for what you’re trying to accomplish. I eliminated all which isn’t really needed for this plan but you can adjust it as you want. Good luck.
