Mini-2 gibal angle changing when mapping
Hi there, very new user, just done my first flight and mapping mission.
Overall it was successful, but I noticed that when the drone was changing direction during mapping, or if it got hit by a gust of wind, then the gimbal angle seemed to get moved from -90 to approx -87. It looked a lot like the gimbal angle change you'd see if you're flying in sport mode.
I checked that it didn't get reset before taking the next photo, and ended up manually resetting the gimbal angle to -90 using the controller.
Curious to know if anyone else has noticed this with the mini 2?

Can you post a screen recording?
Had this happen to me the last two flights.
Mini 2, iPhone 14 Pro Max, latest updates on both phone and Dronelink, and DJI.
Classic screen.
Plan is in public repo.

I have screen recordings in Google Drive that I can send a link to in private mail.
The plan flew perfect several times, I am clearing a field of invasive plants, and run the same plan after each work session.
I *believe* just before the issue occurred I changed the initial entry point from the NW corner leg to the SW corner leg so it would be closer to where I start and end the flight to save almost a full "lap" of battery time. I just dragged the icon from one place to the other. No other changes.
It goes to a random pitch, 83°, 77°, 72°, etc. it does this consistently when making the first right hand turn at the top (North) of the map on each loop. It does not do it at the bottom of the map. It has done it exactly the same for two flights on two different days. You will see it change in the video, and then go back to 90° because I manually set it back. In the second video at the top of the loop I did NOT reset it immediately to show it does not go back to -90° unless it is manually controlled.
I included a screen shot of the weather conditions at the time. The gusts are a little high, but don't think this should affect it consistently.
I could probably make the map over and see if that fixes it, but thought you may wish to see this since you requested screen recording from the OP.

Please email the screen recordings to support@dronelink.com
Were you manually rolling the gimbal wheel by accident?
I am certain I was not. The first time it happened it was actually sitting leaning against my equipment case, and I had that very thought “it must have been pressing on the scroll wheel. I was very careful after that, and it would be pretty unlikely that I accidentally did it each time at the turn and never else.
I may try again in a while, it’s very calm weather today.
Flew same mission again in very still wind conditions. The first turn the gimbal did not change pitch. On the remainder of the "North" turns it changed pitch. (videos uploaded.)
Changed plan to start map on North end. No issues with gimbal.
Changed plan back to original start point. No issues with gimbal.
So I don't know. I'll calibrate Compass and IMU next time before I start.
Thanks for looking. G
Will try your mission here.
We were not able to reproduce this issue with your mission plan - the gimbal stayed pegged at -90.
No problem. Will monitor during future flights and see if it still happens, hopefully it never will again. Thanks for taking the time to investigate this.
