DJI No Fly Zone NFZ problem partially solved.

Each Mission I start with DJI GO4 app this to avoid the risk Dronelink blocking the mission if the Mission start in a NFZ.

Case 1: Start in a NFZ problem solved

I start the Mission with DJI GO4 app in a NFZ DJI shows a popup message “Are you aware this is a serious risk” I answer yes.

DJI GO4 records this status internally.

Next step I start DRONELINK app no problem it works, but a time consuming procedure.

Case 2: Start in a allowed Fly zone and heading toward a NFZ

I start in a allowed Fly Zone with DJI GO4 app no popup message

I start DRONELINK app

After a while the mission is stopped with the message “Automatic Control Interrupted: The drone must remain in P-GPS flight mode for automatic control”

Even worse the RTH did not work !!!!!!!!!!!!

How is Litchi solving this problem?

Thank you for a Solution

avoid the risk Dronelink blocking the mission

We do no actively block any missions. If you don't unlock the NFZ first in DJI GO then the DJI SDK will not allow virtual stick control.

How is Litchi solving this problem?

We can't speak to how other software works. The DJI SDK does have APIs to unlock fly zones, but we have not taken advantage of those yet (it has been submitted as a feature request though).

Well, for me it's a necessity, because I live in a blue area, and travel around where there are airports. Recently, I've emailed DJI, and they've unlocked the El Nido, Coron and Manila airports here in the Philippines. Soon I will need the Tacloban airport unlocked. But if dronelink can't fly in them, I can always use fly.
