Way point with manual orientation & gimbal control
I have used Dronelink a few years but I'm not satisfied with smoothness. (This may be due to the virtual stick.)
Another difficulty is that it is hard to predict the best setting of the camera angle before flight.
If I can preset trajectories by Dronelink and manually control angle of drone and gimbal, that would be fantastic. I do not have to worry about hitting objects. I will be able to concentrate on filming.
Some drones (SONY) are operated by two people: One operates navigation and the other does filming. Drone link can do the navigation part. Do you like this idea, Jim?

It is definitely possible (I already wrote similar code in Autopilot).
Another option is to convert to DJI Waypoints and use this (if your drone supports onboard):
