DJI RC Pro controller compatibility with MSDK for Air2S
From DJI SDK Forum:
Does RC Pro for Air2S compatible for MSDK?
William Wong
- Updated
- From MSDK 4.16.1 and above, RC Pro can connect with MSDK.
- The model name of RC Pro is RM510.
- You need to go to the Settings menu on remote controller, force stop the DJI Fly app so that the MSDK can recognize the remote controller. Otherwise, the DJI Fly app will occupy the port.
Believe they are saying SDK supports RC Pro controller...

The latest version of Dronelink uses 4.16.1. You are welcome to try but we have not tested this device.
This version of SDK has been available for over 2 months. Why have you not tested already?
We have a large product roadmap and are focused on other drones, devices, and features at this time. We may eventually prioritize this device, but the reality is the low performance OG smart controller resulted in a really poor user experience with Dronelink. While DJI has done a great job at optimizing these appliances for manual flight in tough conditions (heat, brightness, etc), automated missions are not the target use case considering the performance requirements. The reality is dedicated appliances like the smart controller will always be underpowered compared to modern mobile devices that can be regularly upgraded.
