Let me clarify my question about it.

Can I adjust my camera settings before doing mission Or do I need to relay on default settings?

I need to do grid pattern over buildings but, can I pause or stop the mission If I’m about to hit an tree?

I have an air S2 coming in the mail. Should I cancel My order and get a different drone

Yes, You can adjust camera manually before flight just as if using the DJI app. Also you can set up a plan with a component list to set camera, gimbal or drone commands automatically. A ton of different ways to utilize everything DL offers.

The original question about waypoints for the A2S. If you mean Onboard waypoints which are loaded onto the aircraft then no. A2S does not support onboard capability. Drones which do not have that capability use what they call, Virtual Joystick. Meaning the drone needs a constant clear connection to complete mission. This is how most drones like the A2S, MA2, and Mini’s are used with third party mission apps. Hope this helps and good luck.

A ton of help out there. Here are a few links:

Forgot to mention you can pause and manually take control of aircraft at any time. After checking If you think it will be ok then you can resume the mission right from where it is and continue until finished. If not then either manually fly back or initiate RTH. As long as you have the RTH altitude set high enough to clear any obstacles just like with DJI app then it will return and land. A ton of tutorial videos on YouTube and help documents in the links I gave. Enjoy.
