How to check if the shooting is going well while using a drone

류나림

I signed up for the service thanks to the person who answered the other day's question.

I am writing because I am curious while trying mapping by joining the elite class

I confirmed that the drone automatically takes pictures according to the grid mission I designated.

1. I can check the drone moving along the mission path, is there a way to check if it is filming properly?

Depending on the connection with the drone or the wind, the shooting interval may change or be pushed out of the path, but hundreds of sheets cannot be confirmed on the spot. Is there any way to display the photographed point according to the photographing path? When the photographing point is displayed, it may be possible to check the degree of deviation from the photographing interval or path and attempt re-photographing

2. After completing the mission, does it return to the point of departure and automatically land?(I want to know the margin of error)

I'm sorry if I checked the frequently asked questions but I couldn't find them properly and asked them again.
I am grateful to the people who answer the question

When you are running the mission the icon on the screen will be indicating that photos are being taken.

More importantly, if you select the option that says "Verify file created" then it makes sure that the photos are written to the SD card and, if not, the mission will fail

Also, in the settings, you can set the maximum tolerance for the drone to drift off course.  Personally, I wouldn't set this too small or you will find it failing often because it will also do it if the wind causes things to slow down too much (also considered off course).

Also in the settings, you can decide what you want it to do once the mission is complete - with auto land or Return to Home being options.  The RTH uses the DJI function so it is the same as if you hit the RTH button on the controller, in my experience, it is usually within a few feet but, given that GPS can be off by about 16', you should consider that as reasonable margin.

Hi 류나림. Just a heads up. A lot of answered questions have been posted on this forum many times for many different things. If you go to the home page by clicking on the Dronelink logo at top it will have a search bar. Example, enter RTH and a ton of post about that command. If nothing found then of course there are plenty of pilots here to assist. A lot of links to other support pages on there too. Good luck and enjoy….
