P4Pv2 unable to takeoff after updating app

Dane Goble

Tonight I updated my tablet to the latest firmware (Galaxy Tab S6 Lite; Android 12, OneUI 4.1) and I now I get the error "Unable to Takeoff" in dronelink when trying to fly my Phantom 4 Pro V2. I have successfully flown this same drone the past two days, before updating the tablet, without any issues. I tried flying with my phone instead of the tablet, and still no luck.

I then tried flying my MA2 with the same tablet, and my phone, and had no issues with either.

The firmware on the P4Pv2 is up to date, but should I try to reload the firmware again to see if that fixes the problem?

Any advice appreciated.

Are you able to takeoff manually and start from the air?

I was trying to fly it manually when I ran into the problem. I took the drone to another location today and was able to complete a mission. But for some reason I was getting an altitude restriction of 180ft in the beginning, and then it went away part-way through the mission and flew the rest of the mission at 200ft like it was supposed to. Neither of these areas are within controlled airspace either. I'm getting ready to download the flight logs and see if anything stands out. Let me know if you want to see them.

    Thanks!

Ok I just looked at the flight logs. All of the logs from my attempts to fly yesterday evening when I had problems show the error "Not Enough Force/ESC Error." The log for today's mission does not show that error. So maybe that was the problem? And I have no idea what was causing that because today's mapping mission went flawlessly, even though the wind was blowing 21-29 mph the entire time.

Sounds like you are having hardware / DJI issues.
