Issue: Cannot drag boundary points with a mouse in the Android App and Mobile Browser

Hello Dronelink Support Team,

I am writing to politely report an issue we recently started experiencing. Our company, HiVE Drones International, relies heavily on Dronelink for our daily commercial agricultural and industrial operations. We create and edit many flight plans in the field, and this recent change is currently affecting our workflow.

The Issue: We noticed that we can no longer drag and drop boundary points (or map pins) using a physical mouse. When clicking and holding a point to move it, the map pans instead. This worked perfectly just a few days ago.

Setup: Devices: Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S22, and XP-Pen Magic Note Pad tablet

OS: Running the latest available system updates on all devices

Environment: Tested inside Samsung DeX and standard Android

Input: Bluetooth Mouse (Logitech Pebble 2)

Our observations to help your team: We wanted to help narrow down the cause, so we did some troubleshooting on our devices and noticed the following:

Finger (Touch) input on Android: Works perfectly. Drag and drop succeeds.

Stylus input on Android: Works perfectly. Drag and drop succeeds.

Physical Mouse input in the Android App: The cursor changes to a "pointer finger" (link click) instead of the "grab/hand" icon over boundary points, and dragging pans the map instead.

Physical Mouse input in the Android Web Browser: We tested the Dronelink web interface using the web browser on these Android devices (including inside Samsung DeX), and the exact same mouse issue occurs there as well.

Physical Mouse input on Windows PC (Web Browser): Works perfectly.

We also design flight plans on Windows PCs using the Dronelink web interface, and the drag-and-drop mouse functionality works flawlessly there.

Based on these observations, it seems the issue is strictly isolated to how mouse inputs are handled on Android systems (possibly a recent change in the Dronelink Android app, the underlying map engine, or the Android WebView).

We just wanted to share these findings in case they help your developers look into the issue. Since we use lapdock and mouse setups for precise on-site mission planning, we would be very grateful if your team could investigate this.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance!

Best regards,

Zsolt Bellovics
