Versions 5.3.6 builds 331, 330, 329, 328
I haven’t flown in about 3 months or more with my Mavic Air 2 so I’m not sure when this started. I updated to the newest 5.3.6 (331) in the Apple Test Flight app and encountered a lot of problems. After trying many things to see if I could get it to work properly I figured I tried older versions which are available in the Apple Test Flight app. I tested everyone one including build 330, 329 and 328 but the problems persisted on each build. I’m using my iPad 11 Pro, M4 5th gen with the MA2 and RC-N1.
First part of video shows the map is underneath the live camera and no way to pull it up along with the start/ pause button. Second part shows that when I try to get into any of the settings they don’t come up. Third part is a mapping mission with the map underneath the live feed and no start/ pause button. Before starting the mission the map is there but then once started the map is hidden underneath. Also there is no mission summary which shows what component is next along with the time left on the mission. Also noticed the shutter button doesn’t have the normal spinning to show the time to the next capture and no click sound after each capture. Last thing is if I try to click on the phi to 5 second capture the settings don’t come up. Instead the grid lines for the camera come up.
If you need me to try anything please let me know and I’ll test whatever you have. I know it’s a lot and I wish I had flown more so I knew on which exact version this started.

Oh what fun. Lol. I forget to add IOS version 27.0.1 if that matters.
Only does this once connected. If I open DL app while disconnected everything looks as it should. Map, camera view, settings and even if I load a mission the start button is present in the proper place and the plans path is displayed on the map as it should. 😎
Looks like an iOS 27 related issue. Getting a 5.3.7 build up soon to address it.
Ok. Thanks Jim. No hurry.
Submitted for approval, let me know if it fixes it for you when it comes out (beta channel).
Ok. Thanks.
Once again you are the man…. Only thing is the spinning capture button isn’t working if in fact it still should. It just shows the little square inside the round button. The timed interval is indicated so I know it’s capturing at the interval set. Not a big deal for me. Thanks.
Glad it worked for you. We had to remove the animation on the capture button because it was causing UI performance issues for some reason.
Ok. No worries. Thanks again Jim. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
