unable to reach destination error message

Wil Janssen

I am new to Dronelink as Elite user (however not new to drones or eg litchi).

So I made a small 1st path mission, where I was about 19 meters away from the starting point which I made in dronelink.

The drone took off to 20 meters height, and the destination was only about 10 meters away. But then I received the following error message "unable to reach destination" ...with the option to hit dismiss in the app.

Can you help why this message occurs? what went wrong?

quick extra question...how can I create a path mission vertically? I would like to film a building starting eg at 2 m from the ground and then ending at altitude 50 meters (building will be the poi)

Mission plan seems fine. This message typically happens when external factors (winds, no fly zones, etc), prevent the drone from making progress towards the destination. Were there any external factors?

For vertical motions, try Destination, Facade, or a Path with a Marker that has altitude specified and no interpolation.

The wind was very calm at level 2...so that should not be a problem. Regarding no fly zone, I need to check this when trying again to fly the mission.

Unfortunate Facade does not work for the Elite hobbiest package. Do you have an example for a Destination, Path with no interpolation and drone will raise from eg 2 m to 50 m?
