Low res copies on device
How do you enable downloading low res copy to device while filming? Can they be viewed in device natively or only through DJI or dl app?

All photos and videos will be stored in the DJI app under album. Videos are already saved in low res to save space on device until you download them in the app. You will see at the top of any video in the app the date/ time and low res with the small info icon for more media info. You can set up other options under camera settings in DJI app like syncing downloaded files to phone album. This will put a copy in your devices photo album.
Hi Mike, I take it that videos are only cached if running djifly, not in dl? I did test in both and only the clip with djifly was cached in DJI album. Also I couldn’t flnd the clip on the Mini 5.Not sure if I was doing something wrong, I had the option to sync to phone checked?
Yes, all media is saved in DJI app just like always even when running the DL app. In order to download the video you need to click on the download icon in bottom right corner of the DJI album. Then it will be downloaded from the SD card and be saved in the Fly app album in full resolution along with being saved to your iPad.
That switch to sync Downloaded files to device is so once downloaded in full resolution it will be saved in iPad photo album too. If it is not turned on then it will only save to the DJI album in full resolution. It can be downloaded to your device at a later time if you want but I leave that switch in so it’s done at same time. There are many different ways to download, save or send media from the DJI app. A lot to digest but If you need any other assistance you can text me in messenger or call me.
