We point educational users to buying the Hobbyist plans, and do not offer any student discounts on those plans. If the university is seeking to use drones in a school program for multiple students, have them reach out to us.
The Elite Hobbyist plan is the one you will need for mapping.

instead is it possible to have a personalized plan for hobbyists? In particular, is it possible to add the facade and terrain follow functions to the elite plan? I would need to make some findings for university research. thank you
It’s very disappointing that you don’t offer any kind of student pricing. The elite hobbyist plan lacks some functionality that an engineering student would use (like the inspection and mapping). and both is and the monthly pro growth plan are priced fairly high for students to afford.
