Camera Turning Off during RTH
Greetings. Dronelink has recently started turning the camera off on my DJI Air 2S upon mission completion and RTH. Has anyone else experienced this? It has been operating normally until the past month or so. Is there a setting I've accidentally changed? RTH is a little nerve-racking with no camera. The camera window just shows the generic map. I placed this under bug reports, but obviously, this may not be a bug.

We haven't changed anything related to that. Do you have an example of a mission that was working before?
Thanks, Jim. I've been flying a construction site every week for almost a year (3 plans per week). So, yes, I have plenty of examples of it working properly. It's only recently that the camera has shut itself off after mission completion. I didn't do any screen captures, but here is one of the plans from the mission and the base map that the camera window reverts to upon initiating RTH. I'm not sure what else I can show you.ย
Also, Jim. I just looked closely at the Mission Preview, and there are no camera commands showing at the end of the flights (other than the normal end capture).
Can you share the mission plan itself so I can fly it?
Hope this works.

I think I misunderstood - you mean the camera is going black during RTH, not that the camera stops capturing?
It doesn't go black. The camera window just shows a default base map. The drone location is still tracking in the plan grid window. When flying this site, I typically have the plan view selected in the main window and the camera view is in the lower left where I see what the camera sees. When the mission completes and RTH engages, the camera goes off (apparently) and a static base map appears, which is a generic location, not the current location. Return flight and auto-landing functions normally, I just can't watch from the controller. If one plan completes and I load another plan before RTH executes, then start the new plan, everything is normal, the camera stays on. I hope that helps. I'll be flying this site again Thursday. If you can think of anything I should watch, let me know. I'm getting the deliverables completed, so this isn't mission-critical. I'll resync the controller and drone from the Dronelink website before I go back out.
If I understand correctly youโre completing losing the cameras live feed. Iโd take a screenshot so Jim can see exactly what you mean.
Thanks, Mike. I'll do that on Thursday when I fly the site. But looking at the screenshot above, if you imagine the camera view square in the lower left, but all it's showing is exactly what's there (the base map), that's what happens upon RTH.
I just tested your map on iOS and Android (Dronelink 5.3.0) and everything was working fine for me. Maybe a screen recording?
Thanks, Jim. That doesn't really surprise me. Something local is going on. I'll try to focus on the problem more this Thursday.
After loading everything up here at the house and letting it sync, it was all back to normal on yesterday's flights. I guess the controller just needed to communicate with the mother ship. Thanks for your patience, Jim. All is well.
