They are all basically stable and compatible versions or they would not be released into production. The only difference with any Beta version is the added features to be tested before pushing it to a production version. It will connect and fly missions regardless of either version. I have the MA2 and have always updated to the most current version usually Beta versions to test new features or fixes and other than a few small bugs it works fantastic. That version you’re using is about a year old and with all the changes and added new features you will not have some of the newer features. You should always update to the most current version of DL as well as the current firmware. Enjoy.

You can update, but if you originally installed from Google Play, you will now need to install directly via APK: https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/articles/50274824976659-Why-is-the-Google-Play-store-no-longer-supporting-the-latest-Dronelink-app

Thanks for replying. I downloaded the file to my Samsung S24 Plus (with Android version 16 and One UI version 8.0). When the download completes, the "Update" icon appears instead of "Open." An error message appears, and I can't install the latest version. Do I need to uninstall the current version of DroneLink on my phone first in order to install the latest version?

All planned and executed missions are maintained when running the new version of dronelink?
