Had another go with the DJI Air 2s yesterday. after several attempts to connect i got the green light. every time i tried to start project these kept coming up. any help, is it a bug or something i am doing?

Hi Andrew. I commented on the Facebook group about this issue. Not sure if you saw it. When I first starting using DL over a year ago I got the same message with my MA2. I was told to switch off APAS in the DJI Fly app but DJI removed that ability to switch off when they updated the software not long after the drone was released. Basically I had no way off turning it off. The only thing I figured out which would work was changing the Fly Around Bypass to Brake or Off. Once I did that it worked but unfortunately the Bypass would not work. Not sure what changed but not long after when I set to Bypass around it works fine with no errors and since then I’ve had no issues running any mission with Bypass enabled. Don’t really know what may have changed but it could have been a DJI update which corrected the issue.
Check to see if there is an APAS switch in the DJI Fly app software for the A2S. The MA2 doesn’t so I’m guessing the A2S doesn’t either but it is a bit different drone and the software may be different. If not then switch the Bypass to brake or off and try to see if it will run mission. I have not heard from others using the A2S having this issue. Good luck…
You jinxed me Andrew. Lol…. I Flew 6 short missions yesterday and on one of them the APAS popped up. I dismissed the message while still hovering and waited for about 10 seconds or so and click the button to resume. Mission flew perfectly. Maybe try to wait and resume mission to see if it works. Not sure why it did this with my MA2 since it’s been a very long time but technology is never perfect. I’ve had a few messages pop up over the last year and usually I wait for 10 to 15 seconds and resume which has worked. Hope this helps. Enjoy…
