Invalid Waypoints

Mark Pinnuck

I am trying to fly a DJI onboard flight controller waypoint mission on a Mavic Pro Platinum.
I have done a number of Onboard flight controller missions  and not experienced this error
As soon as the mission is loaded into the drone it reports "invalid waypoint paremeters"
Not a very helpful message. Link to mission below.
Any suggestions on how debug which waypoint and which parameter is invalid would be appreciated.

Not sure if it can handle that large of a corner radius, and some of the waypoints have an even large corner radius as an override. If that doesn’t work, maybe try removing half of the waypoints at a time and seeing if the error goes away so you can narrow down which ones are causing the issue.

Thanks for taking your time to reply so promptly.
I deleted half the waypoints set all curves to 20m except a couple at 60m still same error.
I will investigate further when I have more time, add waypoints 1 by 1 and test the upload each time.
I created a new mission from convert and set spacing at 60m still same result.
The mission flys fine it Litchi. The problem with Litchi you have to have straight lines and it pauses at every waypoint.
I have used AutoPilot (the one you coded) since 2016 and it finally stopped working last year.
I always use the onboard flight controller as I have problems with the in program controller always strays of path and stops.
Onboard controller is very good in strong winds.
I have mentioned this to you before i am using an ipda mini 5 gen ( A12 Bionic cpu)
I will see how I go when I upgrade to an iPad Air with M4 cpu if that doesnt work nothing will.
Once again thanks for your support.

I reduced to 2 waypoints, the minimum can’t delete the last 2, no POI and still reported invalid, I added 2 new waypoints and deleted the original 2 and the mission loaded. I assume this is a DJI reported error, “invalid waypoint parameter” is not very useful error when you have 100 waypoints or even 2 waypoints. A list of affected waypoints would be useful to locate the offending parameter.

Have you tried reducing the corner radius and/or speed? And yes, the error comes from DJI and we just pass it along.
