DJI Mini 2 - Camera Photo Captures 'Unknown Error'
Hi,
Im finding that DroneLink just wont work with seemingly any configuration of photo mode with my DJI Mini 2 (version 3.3.0 (185) | Kernel 3.3.1)
In the most basic format, if I add a default orbit, with camera mode set, I just get an 'unknown error' for camera capture.
But I also get similar errors from manually adding camera controls to my mission stack.
Any help would be appreciated please, as I cant do anything useful with this atm.
Cheers!

For what it's worth, yesterday I tried to run a basic photogrammetry mission using the P4P. This was to be based on Time, gimbal at 75° and when it got the first waypoint it popped up "unknown error". I tried it twice, same error. So I had to go to plan b.
Can you create a simple mission plan that only has a Camera Start Capture and see if that works? You can test this with the drone just sitting on your desk (the props will not turn on if there are no motion components in the plan).
As for other camera commands, you have to confirm that your drone supports the settings you are using:

Thanks for the quick replies!

I did a test of just the camera functions as you suggested, and everything worked fine ('auto exposure lock' didn't, but I'm guessing that is due to it genuinely being unsupported then.)
Since Im using all the same commands as are triggered in 'orbit' I cant really see why I was getting the camera error before.
If I get a chance later I'll see if I can get it to work by removing the "automatic capture" sub component from the 'orbit' and just trigger the camera commands as above in advance.
And double check I can repo the same issue from yesterday with "automatic capture" on photo mode.
You have start capture in you list which means it will start where you placed that command. Auto capture won’t work if it’s already running. Without seeing your plan I believe that may be your issue. Remove the auto capture or start command from the list.
I'm still not fully sure what was causing this, but I think it could have been related to DroneLink fighting with DJI Fly due to a faulty USB C connection on my device, the issue became so bad the day after I last posted that I couldn't get a reliable connection with either app - I have swapped to a new android device and everything is working great now!

Thanks for your work on this product, its exactly what I was after for my drone - I'm processing data from a survey of my house atm. Gathering data like this without this software would have been a nightmare! :)
Good to hear you got the issue fixed. In the future when using the app, force quit all other apps and only run the DL app. Better to not have any other app running other then DL. Enjoy.
