I like the change. "high wind tolerance"

Tony Simek

I noticed this evening when looking at some of my automated missions for tomorrow that the "allow for motion delay" has been renamed to something a little more intuitive with the "high wind tolerance".  I like this change!  A good reminder when setting up missions!

Can we set this as a global default to "on" for all missions?   I am lazy but have to set it for every mission manually.   In general is there a way to set global defaults for all new missions?   I have many I always set manually so looking for a time saver here.

Create a mission plan that is your template and then just copy it to create new plans instead of starting from scratch.

Not really practical.  You see I've got 16 missions next week.  All have come from multi-component, CLIENT CREATED, KML Files, which have all been imported into DL as 3 or 4 or 5  component missions each.    My Efficient starting point in the workflow if importing Client delivered KML files.   So I set 5 parameters for each component.  Times 3-5 components per mission, Times 16 missions.  that becomes 240 - 400 !! repetitive parameters I have to manually set per week.  Surely an account can have the capability to set some account defaults?    Just asking if this can be done to streamline workflow efficiency.

Anything is possible, just offering a potential work-around until we get the time to prioritize feature development.

Of course.  Thanks Jim.  Appreciate the suggestions.     Any progress on the OTF mission discrepancies?

Is this a map you are importing?  If so, I assume you are following the workflow of Create --> import --> map.

If you do that then high wind is off.

    But...

If you go Create --> Map  and then use the import KML box...then that is on by default.

    Check that out here:  https://youtu.be/nHlDwGyL_1s?si=e1_E-_L6YokfEPb8&t=210

    Even better...

Create a map component with all the features you want, save that, add it to new missions and use the import KML there and then you have everything you need...I think

Barry - looks promising.   Should save time with these monsters I get.
