DJI Fly app 'held' by DL app?
I have read forum posts that it is not a good idea to have DJI Fly running in the background, although I need it initially to load an Unlock license, and then Confirm a Zone warning. Is it then suggested that I close it down (wipe it up on an iPad).
In my first main surveying flight, that went amazingly well and was quite humbling to watch the little fella do all the imaging work, I had the Fly app in the background but when, after the mission was completed and I had dismissed the 'completed' message, I closed down the DL app and switched over the Fly app to try and take some more stills at a different location. However, the camera was locked in a 10s delay of taking pictures and continued to do so until I closed everything off after landing. There was no way I was able to change camera mode in the Fly app.
Is this 'lingering' interaction because I did not switch off the Fly app before starting the mission and, if I had done so, then could I have opened up the Fly app, after the mission finished but with the DL app still open, and had normal Fly app camera functions?
I include two grabs, the first is in the field in the Fly app and stuck with 10s interval photos and the second is during download after having closed down both apps and reopening the Fly one for the download - still stuck in 10s interval mode :|

I used to do with these procedures:
1. Power on the drone and also Open DJI Fly App and complete the required/needed settings
2. Close/Exit the DJI Fly App
3. Open the App info of the DJI Fly App and force stop it (or make sure it is totally stopped)
4. Open the Dronelink and execute the planned mission
5. After the mission is ended. Landing the drone and power-off the drone and stop Dronelink (force stop) and power-on the drone and start the DJI Fly App to do the next flights.
With doing so, everything should be fine.
Thnaks.
By App info do you mean in Settings?
For the Android smart phone, tap the icon of the app:
I don't have Android and if you tap the icon on an iPhone then it opens the app. Guess it doesn't need it with Apple. Thanks
For me its swipe up which is what I was doing so that's ok
Always a good idea to close all other apps when running DL. As Ray stated, I do the same and load DJI app as usual before. In case you didn’t know, you can use the DL app to manually fly and take photos or video. Obviously you will lose many of the features the DJI app but it will still fly the same.
Also the second screen shot is just indicating the last camera mode used. It’s not stuck on 10 seconds. It can manually be changed or it will change with a mission which has a different camera command in plan.
