Individual Colour on App components

Michael Porritt

Hi Everyone.

We do a lot of missions with both the mapper as well as starter plans. Our mapper plan is usually grid with multiple altitudes to create a 3D model of the asset in question.

When we get to site we carry out a pre mission check to ensure that the mission isn't going to hit any trees or other infrastructure at the altitudes we are flying at.

When looking at the mission on the app, all the mission components (ie altitudes) are overlayed on each other and are the same colour which makes it hard to differentiate between the component and its altitude. What would be very beneficial is if there was the option of assigning the individual components different colours on the app, therefore making it easier to see each components path and know what altitude it is.

Also if possible it would be beneficial if the path on the component changes as the drone is flying the mission, therefore allowing you to see at a glance what has been done, and what is yet to be completed.

One other question - is it possible while flying a mission (say for example a grid mission on the mapper plan), to fast forward or skip a section without having to stop the mission, edit the plan and restart? We had a situation recently when a telco tower was closer than initially thought and halfway through the mission we had to pause as it was extremely close to the tower on one of the turns in the grid. It would have been nice if we could skip this while the mission was paused, reposition the drone, fast forward the mission to get passed the telco tower then resume... Is this possible?

Cheers

to fast forward or skip a section

Not at this time, but it has already been asked for.

Should every component require a map placement to create? Camera component as an example shouldn't require dropping a location pin first. I should be able to create my camera settings into a settings repository and reuse them when i need to right?
