Low Light Settings

Whitt Hansen

Hi,

I have a Mavic Air 2s and I need help designing some flight plans I can add to my clipboard for low light. Each job location requires a map and an orbit of a house. I don't know how to create any manual camera exposure settings. My goal is to make a low light orbit and map that pause to take a pictures so they will be exposed correctly without blurring the images. For the orbit, I created 26 individual photos aligned in a circle all pointing inward but I'm hoping there is a more efficient way of accomplishing this. Regular orbits don't allow the drone to stop. Neither do waypoints. The only thing I could come up with for the map is to slow the speed at which the picture is taken which seems to work okay. I just don't know how to adjust the exposure.

Thanks for any tips you can provide

You're best option there is to convert the mission to an inspection mission.  Doing that will cause the drone to come to a complete stop before taking the photo and so you will avoid the motion blue that happens when taking long exposures.

This video covers how to do that:  https://youtu.be/vQZLB1P8ExY
