Air 3 KMZ Export missions fail to execute

I've got an Air 3.. Created a mapping mission and then converted it to a DJI wapoint mission... And promptly removed most of the waypoints to reduce the waypoint count. When I export the mission to a KMZ file and follow the directions in the support article for moving the mission over to the DJI Fly App, it moves over successfully.

I'm able to view the waypoint mission, edit it, etc... But if I try to execute the mission I get an error: Error during flight. Waypoint flight suspended.

I know this question has been asked before, and the guidance was related to making sure the directions for manually copying the KMZ over were followed.. I've confirmed that and tried it several times.

This is the Air 3 with the DJI RC2 controller.

i remember reading something on a support article about the headings in the mapping mission, but I couldn't find that article again.
