Can't fly a Waypoint mission on the M300
Anyone have any experience using DL on the M300? I can fly the M300 on a virtual stick plan but if it is a waypoint mission, there is an error code. Any help will be appreciated.
Error Code: 1008

One other error was
Feature not supported in the SDK (Code - 1000). That mission had a "restricted takeoff" and waypoint map mission with no camera actions at all. Just flying a simple map mission.
Dronelink doesn’t support uploading waypoints to the M300 yet because DJI decided to change the way waypoints are uploaded…just for this one drone (they call it Waypoints V2).
Is there anyway to creat smooth banked turns in virtual stick mode? I could not find anyway to create smooth turns unless they were converted to waypoints and set a turn radius of about 100 feet. Thanks for ur help
Are we talking about the turn-arounds on the map?
Yes sir. They have to be smooth banked turn-arounds. They can not be sharp turns for Lidar. When you convert a virtual stick mission to waypoints, you can then set the curve radius to 100' or 150' and they are very rounded smooth turns which is the turns that are needed. But I can't do that on the virtual mission.
Since the M300 can't fly with a waypoint mission in DL, we need to create smooth turn arounds in the native missions.
Thanks,
Tim
It sounds like you need a new option added to the map component to force it into the pathing algorithm for interval photos?
Since that doesn’t exist yet, you could convert to DJI Waypoints, and then convert back to Virtual Stick. Ugly, but should work.
Getting error. Even though camera set to none

Are you trying to do something that needs to go above 0deg such as a 360 photo? I've had this where I was trying to take 360 photos and the option to let the gimbal point up 30deg had been turned off. I turned it back on using the DJI app and that solved it.
Hi Barry,
This was just for a simple mapping mission with no camera attached to the gimbal. Only the Lidar unit is attached so there were no camera commands. In order to have a smooth bank turn, I created the VS mission, exported to waypoints, and smoothed the turns (100' turn radius), then converted back to VS mission again. The M300 will only fly using a VS mission (not DJI waypoints). So this may have something to do with the VS>WP>VS conversion ?? Just not sure.
Can you share the mission plan?
