Hobbyist mapping - Premium vs Elite

Good afternoon,

I am looking at purchasing a hobbyist plan for use with my Mini 2. I am interested in being able to define an area and have the drone automatically fly a grid pattern with overlap and snap the photos so that I can stitch them together for some detailed 3d pictures. I have a small acreage and would love to create an aerial map of it. This is purely for fun but would give me some much-needed experience should I ever want to start a business down the road. I noticed that it says that mapping is supported by the elite hobbyist plan, however, I read some online reviews that said you can do this with the premium plan. I apologize if this has already been answered but I searched for an answer without success.

You will need the Hobbyist Elite plan. See DL pricing guide about components and functions. Map is available with the Elite plan and up. It’s a one time purchase for any Hobbyist plan. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Isn't MAP available with the Premium plan?

It used to be in the Elite plan only, but we change our plans from time to time. Having said that, even if we change the plans in the future you never lose access to what you pay for (learn more).
