Air 2S and Onboard Waypoints
Will Onboard Waypoints for the Air 2S ever become a reality? Or is it a DJI SDK issue? I'm sure DJI can make a work-around because waypoints can be used in Hyperlapse. Love the app. Thanks.

That's a DJI SDK issue.
So, if DJI wants to they can make the change? Like that'll ever happen.
As I understand, the drone needs the ability to save the waypoints onboard. The link I’m attaching explains a bit about Onboard. Basically as a Jim stated, they have not found a way to “magically” upload waypoints to drones which don’t support it.
I realize there may be a few reason to use onboard waypoints but for the mass majority of missions, Dronelink’s Virtual Stick method works so great so I don’t see the need for them. Plus you will lose features of the Virtual Stick approach vs Onboard. So far after 1-1/2 years I’ve never had a disconnect with either my MA2 and even my MM which doesn’t have Ocusync. I’d rather have complete control at any time during a mission instead of having it continue the mission without any control or video. Just one issue is you need to be able to take control of the drone at any point to avoid obstacles, other aircraft or some other emergency situation. Just my thoughts about using them. I'll vote for this feature for both Air 2 and Air 2s if there is finally a way to drop a missions plan to the drone to run onboard.
