Stretching a path causes odd distortion
Maybe I just never noticed this, but I think this is fairly new behavior: If I create a curved path and just stretch the last waypoint, the path also stretches out a loop behind the first waypoint, in the opposite direction. I don't know if the drone actually follows this path -- I haven't flown it -- but the previews do: It first heads off in the opposite direction and then loops back toward the stretched waypoint.

(I rotated this path before stretching it, but this happens whether or not it's rotated.)

This is expected behavior for the bezier curves. If you want a totally straight path, delete waypoint B and just use the Approach and Waypoint A.
You know what the doctor would say, don’t do that. Lol. Only happens when you extend a waypoint a long, long distance away from the previous ones. Normally you would not do it that way. If you want the plan set up like that for some reason then change the Path to Straight instead of Curved or as Jim stated, delete the one waypoint.
Actually, you don't need to move B very far at all before it throws a kink in the path from the Approach to A, and I do want a curved path past B -- I just wanted the first leg straight. The behavior of the bezier curve between A and the Approach still seems odd to me -- I'm not sure how end points are typically handled -- but it's not a problem: For what I wanted to do, the problem is I just don't need or want a waypoint near the Approach. Deleting one of the points works, or since I do want more waypoints, just move both A and B to where I want the first and second points.
